The North Star Motel  is a two minute  drive from City of Kimberley, British Columbia, and a quick drive to Kimberley Alpine Resort,  Rails to Trails, Trickle Creek , Bootleg and Kimberley Golf Courses

About Us

The motel has been owner/operated by husband and wife team for over 30 years.  Our personal interest in history and our collection of antiques  are truly manifested in our lobby and rooms. All woodwork handcrafted by the owners.  



The Motel property has plenty of Adirondack chairs to enjoy the outdoors, complete with a fire pit for quiet evening enjoyment. Take a stroll and discover our horses and our Fowl and Feather Cottage, home to our resident feather friends.   


A quick two minute drive will take you to the city core of Kimberley.  Plenty of unique shops and restaurants  to experience.  


Motel property has WIFI,  and rooms do have air-conditioning. If you are tired of eating out, we have a Gas BBQ and griddle available.  Enjoy your meal dining in our Victorian Gazebo with a view of the Rockies.


Motel standard rooms are equipped with, fridge, microwave, coffee maker.

Kitchenette units, complete with tabletop stove, microwave, dishes, sleeps max 3 people.

If your interests are hiking, biking, fishing, golfing , downhill and cross country skiing, or just to relax,  Kimberley, BC is the place to visit.  We hope to meet you soon!
